Home » EducationAmerican Cancer Society Student Stipend AwardThe American Cancer Society’s Institutional Research Grant to the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center includes one stipend of $2,500, directed to an outstanding medical student or graduate student in the professional health sciences to pursue cancer-related research while still enrolled in a formal degree program. The purpose of the stipend is to expose future clinical health professionals to the possibilities of a research career. Students enrolled in research-oriented degree programs are not eligible. The proposed research must be cancer-related. The award will be for one year only, and is not renewable. 2007 Announcement and Application for ACS IRG Student Stipend Award The deadline for receipt of applications by the Education Office in W313, The Research Building, is Monday, June 17th.
